When you visit VanLaecken Orthodontics, you will have a consultation with one of our three orthodontists. Once determining if Invisalign is right for you, our team will take 3D images of your teeth to create a digital impression for your custom set of aligners.
When your aligners are ready, you will come back to our office to officially start treatment. Every two weeks, you will switch out your aligners for the next in the series. Each tray gets you a step closer to a perfectly straight smile and better overall oral health. You will only need to come into our office every few weeks for our team to assess how your treatment is progressing.
How Long Will Treatment Last?
Orthodontic treatment time for everyone is different, including Invisalign for adults. Your treatment time will depend on your orthodontic issues and their severity. When you meet with our team, we will give you a fully customized plan, including how long you may need to wear Invisalign aligners.
Most adults wear Invisalign for 12 to 24 months. However, minor adjustments may not take as long as some of the more complex cases.
